For The Love of Lincoln

The Mid States Living History Association will be providing support in the Indiana State Museum's Inaugural Gala celebrating the 16th President of the United States of America, Abraham Lincoln on Saturday February 13, 2010.

This invitation only event will feature living history presentations featuring General Lew Wallace (pictured below), the 19th US Regular Color Guard, and ladies in formal ball gowns crafted by Shela Simpson.  The event, For The Love of Lincoln, will celebrate the opening of the new exhibit at the Indiana State Museum titled With Charity for All:  The Lincoln Financial Collection.  This exhibition coincides with the Library of Congress' With Malice Toward None:  The Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Exhibition.
